MotionBend 1.3.6 Released: Interlacing

Tiliam Research today announced the release of MotionBend 1.3.6. MotionBend now supports interlaced video. Previous versions of MotionBend processed interlaced video as if it was progressive.

Progressive scan video continues to become more widespread, however, the majority of video cameras have interlaced modes and many productions still use it. Input video comprised of fields is now processed as two separate images for the purposes of analysis and rendering. This results in a higher quality analysis and better stabilized output video.

Other improvements focus on the user interface and ensuring a consistent and easy to use user experience. See the release notes for a complete list of changes.

MotionBend 1.3.6 is free for all licensed users of MotionBend version 1.
